Will my drink fit Steadi?

Steadi fits container bases from 2 to 3.15 inches across, inclusive. That is 50.8–80.01 mm. Measure the bottom of your container, not its rim. Check handle clearance as well as width.

How to measure your cup

  1. Empty the container and turn it over.
  2. Place a ruler across the center of its circular base, from one outside edge to the other.
  3. Check that the base measures at least 2 inches and no more than 3.15 inches.
  4. Check that any handle clears Steadi’s fins and allows the container to seat properly.

For an irregular base or a measurement close to either limit, ask us before ordering. Send the exact model, base measurement, and a side photo to hello@steadilabs.com.

Why a three-inch sticky note is not a fit test

A base can extend past a three-inch note and still be within the confirmed 3.15-inch maximum. A small base can sit inside that note yet be below the two-inch minimum. Use a ruler to check both limits.

Does the 40 oz Stanley fit?

The exact 40 oz Stanley Quencher H2.0 is confirmed to fit. This does not establish fit for other Stanley models or every 40 oz container. Capacity is not a base measurement.

What about cans, bottles, and mugs?

Standard 12 oz cans are confirmed. Other drinkware should be checked by exact base size and shape. A low handle on a ceramic mug can interfere with the fins even when the base width is in range. A higher handle can clear them; do not rule all handled drinkware in or out.

Fit and stability are different checks

A compatible container still needs a reasonably level supported spot under Steadi’s full base. A hard knock, moving bedding, a steep cushion, or an overfilled drink can cause spills. Steadi helps resist tipping; it is not spillproof.

Frequently asked fit questions

Does a 3.15-inch base fit?

Yes. The confirmed range includes 3.15 inches. Check handle clearance and seating too.

Does a base smaller than two inches fit?

It is outside the confirmed fit range. Do not assume the fins will hold it securely.

Should I measure the rim or the bottom?

Measure across the bottom. A wide rim does not tell you the base diameter.
